Grilled Sardines Recipe

Grilled Sardines Recipe Ingredients:
  • 24 Whole Fresh Sardine - cleaned
  • 1 cup Kosher Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • Lemon - for garnish

Grilled Sardines Recipe Instructions:

  • Preheat the barbeque to high.
     

  • Line a baking dish with half the salt. Lay the sardines on top of it and cover them with the remaining salt.
     

  • Allow them to cure for at least 30 minutes.
     

  • Rinse the salt off the sardines and oil the grill. Blot the water from the sardines and brush them with oil.
     

  • Put them directly on the hot grill and cook until their skins are slightly charred, about 4 minutes per side.
     

  • Remove the fish from the grill and serve on a large platter. Drizzle the fish with the finest quality olive oil and black pepper.
