Baked Halibut Recipe

Baked Halibut Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 lb Halibut Fillets
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • Garlic Powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 2 Whole Lemons - sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Butter


Time: 45 min
Serves: 2

Baked Halibut Recipe Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
     

  • Sprinkle both sides of halibut with salt, pepper and paprika.
     

  • Place halibut in a buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic and parsley.
     

  • Place slices of one lemon on fish and add water to about 2/3 of the depth of the fillets.
     

  • Bake uncovered 20-30 minutes until halibut is firm and flakes easily with a fork.
     

  • Remove from oven, discard lemon slices and water.
     

  • Dot with butter. Place under broiler until just beginning to brown.
     

  • Garnish baked halibut with remaining lemon slices.
