Nut Encrusted Halibut Recipe

Nut Encrusted Halibut Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 Halibut Fillets - about 175g each
  • 2 Egg - beaten
  • 175g Walnuts - finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 300ml Double Cream
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped Tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons Dry Marsala


Time: 22 min
Serves: 4

Nut Encrusted Halibut Recipe Instructions:

  • Season the fish with salt and pepper then dip them into the egg and then into the crushed walnuts to coat on all sides.
     

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the fish and sauté for about 3 minutes on each side or until cooked through, turning several times during the cooking.
     

  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, bring the cream and tarragon to a simmer and continue to simmer until it reduces and thickens slightly.
     

  • Add the Marsala and whisk well to incorporate.
     

  • To serve - transfer the fish to a serving platter and and drizzle the sauce over the fish.
