Pan Seared Halibut Recipe with Fruit Salsa

Pan Seared Halibut Recipe with Fruit Salsa Ingredients:
  • 4 Halibut Fillets - about 6oz each
  • 3/4 cup diced Papaya
  • 1/4 cup diced Pineapple
  • 1/4 cup diced Tomato
  • 1/4 cup diced Red Onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons minced Red Chili
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • Salt and Pepper - to taste

Serves: 4

Pan Seared Halibut Recipe with Fruit Salsa Instructions:

  • Prepare salsa. Combine all ingredients except fish, salt and pepper, and set aside.
     

  • Heat sauté pan over high heat with oil until a light haze forms.
     

  • Season halibut filet liberally with salt and pepper and sear skin-side up until a crust forms.
     

  • Turn and continue cooking until cooked through to medium done.
     

  • Place halibut onto a warm plate and top with fruit salsa and serve.
