Smoked Halibut Recipe

Smoked Halibut Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons Butter - melted
  • 1 Clove Garlic - minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Dill Weed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped Parsley - to garnish
  • 6 Halibut Steaks - about 8oz each
  • Lemon Wedges - to garnish

Serves: 6

Smoked Halibut Recipe Instructions:

  • In a bowl make marinade by combining first 8 ingredients.
     

  • Arrange fish steaks in one layer in a shallow pan. Pour marinade over fish; cover and marinate 1 hour.
     

  • Remove fish from marinade and place in smoker over medium heat using 2 tablespoons of alder smoking chips for approximately 25 minutes.
     

  • Serve immediately garnishing with parsley and lemon wedges.
