Asian Style Pollock Recipe

Asian Style Pollock Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 lb Pollock Fillets - thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Dry White Wine
  • 2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger Root - finely slivered
  • 1 Clove Garlic - minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup Green Onion - diagonally sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds - toasted
  • Lemon Wedges

Asian Style Pollock Recipe Instructions:
  • Place Pollock fillets in shallow heat-proof dish.
     

  • Combine wine, soy sauce, oil, ginger root, garlic and cornstarch; spoon over fillets.
     

  • Place vegetable steamer in large skillet or wok; add water to depth of 1 inch. Bring water to boil.
     

  • Top Pollock with green onion; place dish of fillets on rack. Cover skillet and return water to boil.
     

  • Steam fillets allowing about 10 minutes cooking time per inch of thickness measured at its thickest part or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
     

  • Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges.
