Pollock with Fried Capers Recipe

Pollock with Fried Capers Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 Pollock Steaks
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Lemon Peel
  • 3 tablespoons minced Chives
  • 5 tablespoons Butter
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Capers

Pollock with Fried Capers Recipe Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350.
     

  • Pat fish dry with paper towels then sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in baking dish.
     

  • Sprinkle with lemon peel and chives and dot with butter then bake 12 minutes.
     

  • While fish bakes put 1/2" oil in a small saucepan set over high heat.
     

  • Pat capers dry with paper towels then add capers to hot oil and cook 2 minutes.
     

  • Immediately remove with slotted spoon to paper towels. Place on warm plates then divide cooking juices among them and sprinkle with capers.
