Baked Snapper with Tarragon Stuffing Recipe

Baked Snapper with Tarragon Stuffing Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 Red Snapper Fillets - about 8 oz each
  • 1/2 cup chopped Celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped Onion
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Whole Tarragon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 cups Soft Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter - melted


Time: 45 min
Serves: 6

Baked Snapper with Tarragon Stuffing Recipe Instructions:

  • Sauté celery and onion in 1/3 cup butter in a medium skillet until tender. Add salt, tarragon, and pepper; mix well. Stir in bread crumbs and milk.
     

  • Place 3 fillets in a greased 13- x 9- x 2 inch baking dish. Spoon breadcrumb mixture over fillets; top with remaining fillets, and brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
     

  • Bake at 400 degrees F. about 35 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
