Spicy Red Snapper Recipe Ingredients:- 2 Whole Red Snapper - about 27oz each, cleaned
For The Marinade: - 1 teaspoon Ginger Paste
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Paste
- Salt - to taste
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 250g Yoghurt - whisked
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 teaspoons Coriander Seeds - roasted, crushed
- 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
For The Curry: - 1 cup Onions - chopped
- 200g Tomatoes - chopped
- 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 2 teaspoons Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tablespoon Cashew Nut Paste
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- Salt - to taste
- 2 tablespoons Green Coriander - chopped

Spicy Red Snapper Recipe Instructions:Clean the whole fish and make slits on the flesh. Mix together the ingredients for the marinade. Smear evenly on the fish and keep aside for one hour. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the fish on both sides till golden brown. Remove and keep aside. In the same oil, sauté the onions till transparent. Add the remaining ingredients for the curry, except green coriander. Stir-fry for a few minutes, sprinkling water occasionally. Place the fish in a roasting pan. Pour the gravy on top. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Stir in the remaining marinade; cook and stir for 5 minutes. Place fish in an ovenproof dish; cover and cook for 40 minutes in a moderately hot oven. Serve hot with a green salad.
