Take a shallow pan, grease it and place the salmon fillets inside it. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lime all over it. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over the fish.
Cook the fish under the broiler for about 5 minutes. Remove the salmon fillets from the broiler and brush hoisin-honey mix over them.
Now place the salmon back into the broiler, and cook for about 3 minutes this time.
You will be able to tell if the salmon is done by flaking it with a fork. If the fish flakes easily, it is done.
Serve the Asian salmon immediately along with some rice.
