Baked Swordfish Recipe

Baked Swordfish Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 lb Swordfish Steak
  • 1 Clove Garlic - chopped fine
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil Cooking Spray
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 Size Onion - chopped
  • 1 Medium Tomato - chopped
  • 1˝ tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking White Wine
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • White Rice - for 2 people

Baked Swordfish Recipe Instructions:
  • Rinse swordfish with cold water then pat dry. Sprinkle with pepper.
     

  • Coat a skillet with cooking spray. Add butter and place over medium heat until butter melts.
     

  • Add fish to skillet and cook until browned on both sides. Place in a 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.
     

  • Wipe skillet with a paper towel and coat with cooking spray. Place over medium heat until hot.
     

  • Add onion and garlic sauté until tender. Add tomato, wine, Worcestershire sauce, water and salt. Remove from heat and spoon mixture over steaks.
     

  • Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until steaks flake easily when tested with a fork. Serve with white rice.
