| Caramelized Trout Recipe | Caramelized Trout Recipe Ingredients:- 1 whole trout - about 1½ lb, cleaned and cut 1/2 inch thick
- 2 cups Water
- 2 Cloves Garlic - minced
- 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Pineapple - peeled, sliced
- 3 Stalks Green Onion - chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- Pineapple Slices - for garnish
Caramel Sauce: - 1 tablespoon Water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar

| Caramelized Trout Recipe Instructions:Prepare caramelized sauce - Cook 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 tablespoon water in a small saucepan and stir often until sugar turns dark brown, be careful not to burn. Add 2 cups water to caramelized sugar then add fish, pineapple, fish sauce, sugar, salt and garlic. Simmer fish until tender and water reduced. Add black pepper and green onion. Serve and garnish with Pineapple.
