Pan Fried Trout Recipe

Pan Fried Trout Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 Whole Trout - about 12oz each, cleaned with tails and heads on
  • 60g All Purpose Flour
  • 60g Cornmeal
  • 0.2g Cayenne Pepper
  • 6g Salt
  • 2g Ground Black Pepper
  • 45ml Olive Oil
  • 2 Lemons, cut into wedges - for garnish

Pan Fried Trout Recipe Instructions:
  • Remove gills from fish and rinse under cold water.
     

  • Heat oil over a medium head in a large skillet.
     

  • Put the flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper in a shallow dish.
     

  • Raise heat to high.
     

  • Dredge fish in flour mixture and fry in hot oil for 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until meat flakes with a fork.
     

  • Garnish with lemon wedges.
