Prize Winning Trout Recipe Ingredients:- 2 Whole Trout - about 1 lb each, cleaned, gills removed
- 2oz Butter
- 1 plate of Flour - seasoned with Salt and Pepper
- Lemon Wedges - to garnish

Prize Winning Trout Recipe Instructions:Rinse the trout with cold water and pat dry which will prevent the fish from steaming when you cook it. Cut several diagonal slashes along each side of the fish. Season flour with salt and pepper then roll the fish until covered. Fry the trout on each side for about 5 minutes in butter until golden brown. To check if done insert a fork at the thickest point of the fish, it should appear almost opaque, be very moist and flake easily when tested with a fork. Serve and garnish with lemon wedges.
