Recipe for Trout

Recipe for Trout Ingredients:
  • 2 Trout - each about 200g, head and wings removed, scaled and cavity cleaned
  • 1 Lime
  • Dill - enough to fill the fish cavity
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoons Capers
  • 1 teaspoons Dill - chopped
  • 1 Lime - juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Time: 40 min
Serves: 2

Recipe for Trout Instructions:

  • Heat a frying pan with oil.
     

  • Make several diagonal cuts on both sides of fish. Cut 4 thin slices from the lime and put to one side.
     

  • Sprinkle the juice from the remaining lime over the trout's and their cavities.
     

  • Season each cavity with salt and pepper to taste and stuff the cavities with the thin slices of lime and dill.
     

  • Fry the trout on each side on a medium heat for 10 minutes until golden brown.
     

  • Mix all sauce ingredients together and serve with trout.
