Trout with Almonds Recipe

Trout with Almonds Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1½ lb Rainbow Trout Fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Lemon Pepper - to taste
  • 1/4 cup Egg Substitute
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sliced Almonds


Time: N/A
Serves: 4

Trout with Almonds Recipe Instructions:

  • Spray shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
     

  • In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, lemon pepper and egg substitute.
     

  • Dunk fillets in this mixture then roll them in breadcrumbs to coat.
     

  • Place in single layer in baking dish and sprinkle with sliced almonds. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
     

  • Bake fish fillets for 10 minutes at 400 degrees, fish should appear opaque and flake easily with a fork.
