Trout with Clam Stuffing Recipe Ingredients:- 6 Fresh Trout Fillets - about 6oz each
- 1 can Clams
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 3 tablespoons chopped Onion
- 2 cup Soft Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- 1 can Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 2 tablespoons chopped Parsley
- 1 tablespoons Butter - melted
- 3 tablespoons Fine Dry Bread Crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Pimento - chopped

Trout with Clam Stuffing Recipe Instructions:Drain clams and rinse. Melt butter and sauté onions until tender then add clams, bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste and lightly toss. Place half of the fillets in a greased baking dish on a raised rack. Top with stuffing and cover with remaining fillets. Mix together soup, parsley and pimento and pour evenly over fillets. Cover the fillets bread crumbs and melted butter. Place in oven at 450 degrees and bake for 25 minutes. Fish is done when it flakes easily when tested with a fork.
