Fresh Tuna Recipe Pan Seared Ingredients:- 2 Tuna Steaks - about 8oz each
- 1/2 cup chopped Onion
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon minced Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
- 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
- 11oz can Mandarin Oranges - drained
- 1/3 cup chopped Avocado
- 1/3 cup chopped Tomato
- Vegetable Oil Spray

Fresh Tuna Recipe Pan Seared Instructions:Rinse off the tuna steaks and pat dry. Set them aside. Heat a medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Spray with a light coating of the vegetable spray. Sauté the onions and garlic for about 5 minutes, until the onions are tender. Add the brown sugar, vinegar, and pepper flakes. Allow to cook until the sugar dissolves, or about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add the rest of the ingredients, except the tuna. Cover the pan with a lid to keep hot. Spray a large skillet with the vegetable spray and heat up on medium-high heat. Sauté the tuna steaks for about 5 minutes per side until fish easily flakes with a fork. Cut the 2 steaks in half to make 4 portions, and pour the mandarin orange mixture over the steaks to serve.
