Whitebait Fritter Recipe

Whitebait Fritter Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4oz Raw Whitebait
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Breadcrumbs
  • Lemon Juice - for garnish


Time: 15 min
Serves: 4

Whitebait Fritter Recipe Instructions:

  • Beat the eggs well and then mix in the other ingredients until they are well blended.
     

  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into a pan with a thin layer of hot butter. They should be fried like pancakes.
     

  • Serve hot with lemon juice squeezed over the fritter.
