Best Baked Whiting Recipe

Best Baked Whiting Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 lb Whiting Fillets
  • 1/3 cup sliced Mushrooms
  • 2 Large Scallions - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Dry White Wine
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Light Margarine - melted


Time: 30 min
Serves: 4

Best Baked Whiting Recipe Instructions:

  • Prepare a baking dish with a coating of margarine.
     

  • Sprinkle mushrooms and scallions over the bottom of the dish.
     

  • Place the fish on top and season the fish with salt and pepper and sprinkle wine and lemon juice over all.
     

  • Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
     

  • Pour melted margarine evenly over the topping.
     

  • Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
     

  • Uncover and bake another 5 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
